No, Obama did not disappoint us! He is what we expected he was. And I doubt if he will ever CHANGE. He's a product of affirmative action / leftist ideology and has never been exposed to mainstream thought until just recently. He is not shown any inclination toward changing his core values.

The results inevitably will not be pretty. Obama is an intellectual lightweight—and the famous radio talk show host is extremely knowledgeable. Limbaugh would easily humiliate the pseudo-educated Obama in a debate. The new president’s Harvard University law credentials overly impress far too many people. They fail to comprehend that they merely prove that Obama should be able to pass a State board examination. It means nothing more than that. Limbaugh has accidentally forgotten more about the current issues of the day than Obama ever learned.

I am not really sure why anyone is surprised by the attitude displayed by B Hussein O. One only has to look at both his childhood and his race to see this is very much a predictable outcome.

He will find soon this is going to cause him more problems and trouble than he will ever gain. I for one want to keep the expectations he has promised the American people front and center. The higher these are and let’s face it he has done this to himself, the greater his fall will be.

The only real question is how much his arrogance is going to cost in American lives, personal freedoms, and economic well-being

The Associated Press found that Obama's aunt had been instructed to leave the country four years ago by an immigration judge who rejected her request for asylum from her native Kenya. The woman, Zeituni Onyango, is living in public housing in Boston and is the half-sister of Obama's late father.

The matter was referred to the Department of Homeland Security Inspector General and the ICE Office of Professional Responsibility to determine if there were violations in publicly disclosing an individual's information, NBC News reported.
It was unclear why her request was rejected in 2004. A spokeswoman for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Kelly Nantel, said the government does not comment on an individual's citizenship status or immigration case.

McCain Suspends Campaign to Help With Bailout

John McCain announced that he will suspend his presidential campaign on Thursday to return to Washington to help with Wall Street bailout negotiations. He urged his opponent Barack Obama to do the same.
The Arizona senator also asked the Presidential Debate Commission to postpone Friday’s scheduled debate with Obama so that he can work on the financial crisis bailout plan now on Capitol Hill. The first debate had been set for Friday at the University of Mississippi in Oxford.
“America this week faces an historic crisis in our financial system. We must pass legislation to address this crisis. If we do not, credit will dry up, with devastating consequences for our economy. People will no longer be able to buy homes and their life savings will be at stake. Businesses will not have enough money to pay their employees. If we do not act, ever corner of our country will be impacted. We cannot allow this to happen,” McCain said in remarks to reporters from New York.
Obama said he spoke earlier in the day with McCain, who suggested that they suspend the debate.
“I thought this was something that he was mulling over. Apparently this was something he was more decisive about in his own mind,” Obama said in a press conference scheduled late Wednesday in Florida where he was preparing for the debate.
“I believe we should continue to have the debate,” he said.
Obama said the issue is nonpartisan and he would not allow the bailout plan to become welfare for Wall Street executives or an opportunity for political ploys.
“There are times for politics and there are times to rise above then do what is right for the country. This is one of those times,” he said.
McCain said he will leave the campaign trail after delivering an address to former President Clinton’s Global Initiative on Thursday morning. He canceled a Wednesday afternoon taping of The Late Show With David Letterman show and a Thursday interview with FOX News. The campaign said McCain will also suspend airing all ads and fundraising until the legislation passed.
McCain would particpate in Friday’s debate if Congress passed an agreement by Friday morning, his adviser Mark Salter said.

Her rise was incremental and I get the impression required a lot of direct dealings with many of her constituents. When she finally earned the position of governor (in the HER state, not one she had picked for political expediency) she knew what was right and she did it. She would never let herself be used as a political prop for a philandering husband.

If I were in an interview or otherwise, I would never even think of saying “my Buddhist faith” or “my New Age faith” or “my Episcopalian faith.” I am none of these. I have never intended to be one of these.

In probing for Obama's candor or veracity about his religious history, I have no reason to demonize Islam. Although, I'm not ready for a Muslim to be our President. I am solely concerned by Obama's steadfast efforts to deny or erase his religious past. Ironically, many of the Islamic faith believe Obama is Islamic and are proud of that fact.
